Have You Thought About His Coming?

Let’s read this scripture (Matthew 24:12 – 14 then 42-52)

Do you believe that Jesus has come and He is coming for the second time?
Have you ever been serious about the Word of God or do you join in the adage (saying) “If He is really coming ever since He promised, even if He sits on a truck by now He should have been here”?

If it is so then say “Lord, forgive me” . For really and truly He shall come, the scriptures say so and He said though heaven and earth shall pass away , not a dot or an iota from His Word shall fail.

Dear friend, consider the scripture we have just gone through if the Lord is tarrying, it is for our sake, your sake and mine too. Ask yourself in this life or condition in which you are now, if He should come, will you be justified or saved? (Note Habakkuk 2:1-3)

Though the promises tarries, wait for it for it shall surely come to pass any how. Is He tarrying? (2 Peter 3:8-9 , Matthew 18:14) says God does not want anyone to perish but to come unto repentance. 2 Peter 3:10 says that “ the day of the Lord shall come as a thief “. Some say if He come as a thief  we shall beat him like a thief. See the deception of the devil? He is not a thief but He shall come like a thief. He isn’t, so you have no chance against Him. His coming will be sudden, no man can realize it. No one will know it. So get PREPARED!!!

The scriptures say “watch for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come”. The scriptures put it plainly in Matt 24:48 “if the evil servant shall say in his heart, My Lord delayed his coming and begin to smite his fellow servants and drink with the drunken”. Have you considered yourself a child of God or one of these people on the street who are enjoying all the pleasures of the world, finding all means to be rich and be happy with life? Enjoyment all around? Do not join them. They are fulfilling a bad scripture.
In the last days many shall be lovers of pleasure more than the lovers of God (2 Tim 3:1-5). Brother, sister the Lord is coming but how is He coming to meet you? As one of the lovers of God or a Luke-warm believer ? Choose one. You got to know it yourself. Yes Sir!

Jesus said, “blessed is the man whose master shall come to see him on the work or duty”. Always be alert. Remember also that He said the very time that ye shall say we are free, comfortable, a lot of entertainments, that is the very time that the Lord shall come. ( 1Thess 5:1-11)

Brother, sister you might say that ‘I am a sinner and God doesn’t care about me’. No! Don’t say that, God still loves you for Ezekiel 18:27 says “God has no pleasure in the death of the wicked but that the sinner might return from his ways and live” Isaiah 1:18 also says, “come and let us reason together saith the Lord. Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool”. The 16th and 17th verses say “ wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; learn to do well, seek judgment, plead for the widow”. You see all that God wants from you is that you might repent.( Job 33:27-30). Repentance is to feel sorry for what you’ve done and turn away from it. And do you know one thing? He is ready to help you do it immediately you take the stand. It is not God’s will that you should perish or die in your sins (Matt 18: 12 -14).

So (Isaiah 55:6) says “seek ye the Lord while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near; Let the wicked forsake his thought and let him return unto the Lord and he will have mercy upon him and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon”, He again said “ He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins if we truly confess them”(1 John 1:9) God would that all men be saved (2 Peter 3:9) so he says ‘whosoever that willeth’ should come.

Dear friend won’t  you consider these little words of exhortation that is given in this booklet and even consider the message that you are hearing from this preaching grounds? The Word Christ promised that before His coming shall be preached unto all nations or the world before He comes. And do you know or have you thought of where the world has got to now? Look around, it’s almost finished. Look around you now. How were people’s hearts broken in the days of the Apostles?

Time is far spent and mercy and compassion is about over. Take an opportunity of the time and get in before mercy is totally over. God richly bless you. Amen
